libgnomekbd-common software package provides GNOME library to manage keyboard configuration - common files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgnomekbd-common
libgnomekbd-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgnomekbd-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgnomekbd-common *
You will get with libgnomekbd-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
